LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a nonprofit client on northside of Indianapolis looking for a Staff Accountant. This role will report to the Controller, be a part of a small but established team, and will have room for growth in GL accounting. Open due to an incoming retirement.
Duties:
· Journal entries and month-end close support
· Cash and investment account reconciliations
· Monitor cash and investment activity on the balance sheet
· Fixed asset tracking and reconciliations
· Corporate credit card program administration
· Support operational and light HR-related tasks
· Partner with leadership to understand activity and provide insight beyond transactional work
· Exposure to operating foundation accounting
· AI implementation focus - many licenses available
Requirements:
· 1+ years' progressive GL accounting experience, ideally at a nonprofit
· Bachelors in finance or accounting
· Hunger for growth in GL accounting
