A confidential law firm is seeking an experienced
Real Estate Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling sophisticated real estate litigation and transactional matters. This is a key support role within a fast-paced, professional environment.
What You'll Do- Draft, proofread, and file litigation and real estate documents (pleadings, agreements, leases, deeds, closing materials)
- Assist with real estate transactions, including escrow, loan, and closing documents
- E-file with state and federal courts and submit documents for recording
- Manage attorney and court calendars; track deadlines and key dates
- Prepare closing binders and maintain transaction checklists
- Communicate with clients, courts, title companies, escrow officers, and third parties
- Maintain files, document management systems, and assist with billing and expenses
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and related logistics
What We're Looking For- High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred
- 5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience (mid- to large-size firm preferred)
- Experience with real estate litigation and/or transactions strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems (e.g., iManage)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities
Compensation & Benefits- Base salary: $85,000-$95,000 annually (depending on experience)
