Legal Assistant - Bankruptcy & Creditor's Rights / LitigationLHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a well-established, collaborative legal team seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys within a busy bankruptcy, creditor's rights, and litigation practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a variety of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including bankruptcy filings and related case materials
- E-file documents and manage filings in both federal and state courts
- Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure matters progress efficiently
- Coordinate scheduling of hearings, meetings, and client communications
- Support attorneys in preparing for court appearances and client interactions
- Respond to client inquiries and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with applicable court procedures and legal requirements
Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in litigation or a similar legal environment
- Familiarity with federal and state court rules (experience with Florida courts strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with a document management system is a plus
