Job Description
**Materials Handler** **Job Description:** As a Materials Handler, you will work in a climate-controlled and clean environment, primarily around the cleanroom. The role requires an 8am-5pm shift, with potential overtime when necessary. **Responsibilities:** + Remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles. + Examine receiving documents for storage destination. + Pull stored materials for orders and move to production or shipping areas. + Document information relating to receipt, storage, or distribution cycles. + Use computer systems to locate inventory. + Work under direct supervision. **Essential Skills:** + 1-2+ years of experience with shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment. + 1-2+ years of experience setting up shipments via computer systems. + Familiarity with Purchase Orders and Sales Orders. + Basic computer skills or ERP system experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + 3-4 years of experience as a material handler in a warehouse or production facility, handling inventory, stocking, and kitting. + Experience with setting up shipments for FedEx and UPS. + Knowledge of Oracle systems is a plus, though not required; training is provided. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team with a great culture, where people enjoy fun and fulfilling work hours. The environment is air-conditioned, with a casual dress code. Occasionally, attire for the air lock room may be required, including gloves, shoe covers, and hair nets. There are two shifts available: 1st shift from 8am-4:30pm/5pm, and 2nd shift from 2:30pm-11pm, with some Saturdays and potential voluntary overtime. **Job Type:** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.45/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
