Job Title: Subject Matter Expert II - Quality Control for Deferred Maintenance Work Orders (DMWOs) and PRQs
Job Description:
BIE DSFM Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert II in Quality Control for Deferred Maintenance Work Orders (DMWOs) and Project Requirements (PRQs). The ideal candidate will ensure that all DMWOs and PRQs adhere to minimum quality standards and are coded accurately. This role involves reviewing, approving, and providing training on related topics to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Review DMWOs and PRQs to ensure they meet minimum quality standards and are coded accurately.
- Approval Access: Approve DMWOs in Maximo, ensuring all entries are correct and compliant.
- PRQ Management: Assist with ensuring PRQs are correctly entered in BPERM, including correct funding codes based on the type of work.
- Training and Mentoring: Host recurring and ad hoc training sessions on topics such as DMWO development, scope of work development, cost estimating, and Maximo use.
- Cost Calculation: Accurately calculate construction costs for changes, price the value of needed work, and provide recommendations for equitable adjustments.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in a relevant field of engineering or construction management from an accredited college or university (four-year degree minimum).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and editing Statements of Work and Cost Estimates.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing budgets.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing training and mentoring.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat Professional; RS Means/CostWorks, and Maximo.
- Technical Skills: Ability to accurately calculate construction costs for changes, price the value of needed work, and provide recommendations for equitable adjustments.
