Position: Clinical Support Nurse (RN)

Reports To: Chief Nursing Officer FLSA Status: Exempt Exposure Class: 1 (High Risk) Location: MedLink Banks

Travel is required to different sites**

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Education and Development: Function as an intake resource expert, organize and provide training, and collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to support and educate clinical staff.
  • Clinical Quality Oversight: Coordinate new and existing programs, manage supplies, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support Clinic Operations: Ensure that clinical program requirements are met based on State and Federal guidelines. Provide onsite clinic support for education and program development.
  • Management of Clinical Equipment: Monitor and maintain clinical equipment, ensuring annual BioMed inspections are completed. Troubleshoot equipment issues with manufacturers as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in external meetings, work collaboratively with staff, and use various computer applications to support daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
  • Certification: Minimum of CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Licensure: Unrestricted nursing license in Georgia.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, with experience in staff education, quality measures, and proficiency with EHR or other relevant software.

  • Technology: Computer skills at the level necessary for working efficiently in the company's practice management system, especially in the electronic medical record; Microsoft Office applications, including e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers, talk or hear, and smell.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic chemicals.
