We work closely with engineering, business, and customer-facing teams to analyze returned products, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement. **Position Overview:** As a QRA SSD RMA Engineer, you will lead formal failure analysis efforts on customer-returned SSDs, identifying root causes at both the electrical and physical levels. You will manage critical RMA cases, produce detailed reports, and serve as a technical liaison to internal and external stakeholders. **Responsibilities:** + Perform electrical and mechanical failure analysis on returned SSDs + Generate and communicate comprehensive FA reports to internal and external teams + Lead escalations for RMA cases, ensuring timely resolution and updates + Set up and manage debug systems for DOE and error replication + Provide technical consultation and support to customer-facing teams **Minimum Qualifications:** + Master's degree in Electronics, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or a related field + 7+ years of experience in product engineering, system engineering, validation, or quality assurance + Strong background in failure analysis and system-level testing + Proficiency in SSD architecture and NAND flash memory operations + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in the storage industry and customer-facing technical roles + Familiarity with PCIe, SATA, and bus tracing tools for system debugging + Strong time management and project coordination skills + Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous technical development + Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $95,000.00 - $200,500.00 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
