Position Summary
The Mental Health Professional/Clinical Supervisor provides leadership, training, compliance oversight, and quality control for the EAHS ARMHS Program in accordance with Minnesota DHS regulations. This position directly supervises 4–6 ARMHS practitioners and other clinical trainees, ensuring services are recovery-oriented, culturally responsive, and meet DHS requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide individual and group supervision to mental health professionals, RN medication educators, and ARMHS practitioners
Conduct and/or oversee orientation for new staff
Complete or oversee annual performance evaluations
Offer consultation and crisis backup to staff
Guide staff in using community resources effectively
Monitor charts for required documentation
Coordinate client coverage during staff absences
Organize clinical training and continuing education
Oversee admissions, staff assignments, and discharges
Provide input on annual ARMHS program budget projections
Ensure compliance with DHS certification requirements and grant obligations
Participate in management meetings
Review and approve ARMHS documentation, including FA, Interpretive Summary, ITP, LOCUS, MHIS forms, progress notes, and community intervention notes
Monitor HIPAA compliance
Represent EAHS professionally in the community
Qualifications
Master's degree in a behavioral health field
Minnesota licensure: LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP (in good standing)
Minimum 2 years post-licensure providing ARMHS or ACT services
Minimum 3 years supervisory or team lead experience in mental health services
Understanding of recovery-oriented, community-based services
Preferred:
Experience supervising culturally diverse staff and serving diverse populations
Knowledge of Procentive or similar EHR systems
