What you'll do:


The Operational Process Control analyzes production processes to identify process efficiencies, safety improvements, and review workflows for cost reduction, and productivity. Responsibilities include developing and implementing process strategies, managing resources, optimizing processes, maintaining documentation, and auditing processes.

  • Recommends improvements for process efficiencies, cost-reduction, quality and safety.
  • Assesses current equipment and processes and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Conducts time studies and monitors process performance.
  • Troubleshoot problems associated with the packaging processes and resolves delays in production.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on process and safety improvements.
  • Review space requirements and machinery layout to create an optimized workflow.
  • Improve, establish, and standardize policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Continues improvement of cycle times, change overs, and downtime.
  • Provides continuous feedback to employees on process improvements.
  • Manage Training Matrix with Team Leads.
  • Conduct Process audits.
Requirements:

What you'll need:

  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to assist in the risk assessments of new manufacturing areas for safety and OSHA standards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of automation and robotics principles.
  • Ability to communicate and work with outside contractors.
  • Explores and recommends better and safer robust systems to stay on the leading edge of technology.
  • Able to implement and produce work instructions for our new processes.
  • Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Process and results oriented with ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to conduct time studies.
  • Ability to understand part costing structures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office
  • PLEX UX
  • Associate's degree and/or 4 years of manufacturing experience
  • Practiced knowledge of continuous improvement, quality, ISO, and lean operations.
