Job Description
Join a dynamic and expanding survey team as a Survey CAD Technician, contributing to a range of projects across commercial development, community initiatives, multi-tenant sites, and healthcare facilities. This role involves interpreting survey data, creating precise drawings, and ensuring quality in survey documentation.
Responsibilities
+ Interpret raw survey data collected by field surveyors, including measurements, angles, and elevation points.
+ Create detailed drawings, maps, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Depict property boundaries, easements, and right-of-ways with the assistance of a Licensed Surveyor.
+ Perform quality assurance by reviewing data files for errors in code descriptions.
+ Import survey data into clean point drawings and drawings with processed line work.
+ Produce various types of drawings, such as topographic maps, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, subdivision layouts, and as-built surveys.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in civil site or survey drafting for commercial development, community projects, multi-tenant sites, and healthcare facilities.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with consideration for candidates with a background in Carlson Survey.
+ Strong desire to build a career in the surveying industry and engage in design calculation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with underground pipe networks.
+ Familiarity with road stationing and alignments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
