As a key member of our Vantage Point North Program, you will have the opportunity to work onsite, providing hands-on support and guidance to mostly male adolescent/teenagers in crisis. To excel as a Behavior Technician, essential skills include strong communication abilities to effectively interact with clients and team members, exceptional crisis management skills to handle challenging situations calmly, and effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Additionally, proficiency in using tools such as behavior tracking software and knowledge of relevant techniques for teaching living skills are crucial for success in this role. A valid driver's license is also required to fulfill job responsibilities, including transporting clients and attending off-site meetings. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. High school diploma or GED; AND
B. One (1) year post high school education in social work, psychology or a related field AND
C. One (1) year of general work experience;
OR
D. An equivalent combination of related education and experience from lines B and C. Up to two years of personal experience with recovery or treatment may be substituted for the post high school education or general work experience requirements

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing.
