WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR RESIDENTIAL CAREGIVER - DIRECT CARE AIDE
We have night shifts available from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with some weekend shifts required.
You're the friendly and caring person who improves the quality of life for the adult residents of Puddin's Place and Hart Cottage by supporting them with daily living activities, helping them engage with the community, and forming positive bonds with them. Residents have disabilities and need medium to maximum caregiving assistance, and you're there with a smile and a cheerful attitude. Following personalized care plans, you assist residents with self-care tasks, housekeeping, and medication administration. You also transport them to community-based activities, getting them to their destinations safely and on time.
Maintaining high caregiving standards, you collaborate with our nonprofit director and residential coordinator as well as closely document resident progress and medication records. In case of any incidents or behaviors, you handle the situation with compassion and patience. You're a key part of our nonprofit and greatly impact our residents' health, happiness, and well-being!
