Measurement Specialist | Chattanooga, TN Responsibilities: + Inspect supplier parts + Inspect internal parts + Load up parts onto fixtures + Operate CMM machines + Operate manual quality equipment + Take manual measurements and CMM measurements + Read CAD drawings + Review CMM data + Identifying measurement needs Schedule: This role is on 3rd shift from 8:00pm to 6:45am Monday-Thursday. Additional Work Environment Information: + Temperature controlled facility. + Onsite at Volkswagen's assembly plant in Chattanooga, TN, inside of the measurement lab. + This is a physical job requiring the lifting of heavy parts and stepping up onto a measurement plate. Contract Information: + 12-month contract through Actalent. This role is not guaranteed to turn into a full-time position with Volkswagen, however it's a good opportunity to get your foot in the door. + Compensation: $25.00-$30.00/hour + Benefits through Actalent: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holidays, x1.5 for overtime pay Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
