Job Description
**Position Summary:** The SEM Manager leads the next steps in our client's paid search evolution. They will initiate collaborations internally between cross-functional business partners, and externally with agency/research partners as needed. They will oversee the efficiency, targeting, testing, and seasonality of the paid search budget. In addition to maximizing business return (RoAS), they will also manage campaigns that increase brand awareness, evolve omni-channel measurement and effectiveness, and align overall campaigns to the Marketing priority. They must demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. **Essential Job Functions:** + Responsible for increasing visibility for existing search demand, and driving incremental efficiency for paid search traffic through ad types, audience targeting, capitalize on localized search demand, and partner with web performance for on-site technical optimizations. + This role prioritizes and creates work plans in conjunction with other paid media as it relates to initiatives. + Consistent collaboration and alignment with cross-functional teams that include marketing, digital experience, site merchandising, product management, UX, and eComm teams to create a cohesive strategy that adheres to SEM best practices and business growth priorities. + Identifies competitive gaps, SERP (Search Engine Results Page) visibility, and opportunities to test new data-driven theories, entrances to pages, and work alongside SEO & Content teams. + Superior analytics and reporting capabilities that include data mining large sets of search data, cohort-creation, dashboard creation, and ability to discern clear takeaways from complex data sets + Advanced level understanding of paid search tactics including text search, PLAs, CSEs, GDN, GSP, and YouTube as well as any associated ad tech + Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives. + Serve as the SME for Search across the division, working with teams to grow and optimize paid search presence (and overall presence) on the SERP + Leverage AI and automation capabilities to drive efficiencies within the Search program + Lead insightful sessions on the Search channel (e.g. standard methodologies, strategy, industry updates, etc.) **Minimum Position Qualifications/Education Requirements:** + 5-7+ years of experience in marketing, digital content, social media and/or digital experience with expertise in paid media, managing budgets, optimizing paid campaigns + At least 3 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC). + 1-2 years in health/wellness/pharma related field + Historical knowledge of Google's algorithm updates, SERP changes by device, and reciprocal relationship with PPC efforts + Strong expertise of SEM and how it relates to eCommerce best practices, omni-channel experiences. + Experience utilizing SEO/SEM tools like SEMRush, Bright Edge, Conductor, Google & Adobe Analytics, Google Data Studio/Big Query + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a cross-functional stakeholders and executive leaders + Strong project leadership, organizational and time management skills with impeccable attention to detail + Familiar with the latest Google suite of products: AdWords, DV360, GA4, Search Console + Google Ads certification a plus. **About ManpowerGroup, Parent Company of:** **Manpower, Experis, Talent Solutions, and Jefferson Wells** _ManpowerGroup® (NYSE: MAN), the leading global workforce solutions company, helps organizations transform in a fast-changing world of work by sourcing, assessing, developing, and managing the talent that enables them to win.
