**Remanufacturing Service Technician - 3rd Shift** - **3rd Shift:** 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday _$20.00/hr | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity_ **About the Opportunity** Are you a night owl who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a high-performance environment? We're looking for a dependable and driven **Remanufacturing Service Technician** to join our third shift team. You'll be working with cutting-edge equipment to disassemble, clean, rework, and reassemble locomotive traction motor combo components-all while playing a part in powering modern transportation. **What You'll Do** + Disassemble and reassemble locomotive components using manual and automated tools. + Follow strict safety and quality procedures. + Perform inspections using measuring tools and testing protocols. + Sign off on all completed work steps in process documentation. + Operate forklifts and overhead cranes in line with OSHA standards. + Help train fellow teammates on procedures and tools. + Participate in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives. + Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment or parts. **What You'll Bring** + High School Diploma or GED. + Comfortable lifting tools and equipment up to 50 lbs regularly. + Solid knowledge of manual tools and machinery safety practices. + Willingness to work as part of a team to achieve daily goals. **Preferred Skills** + Associate's Degree or technical certification. + Experience in lean manufacturing and analytical testing. + Strong attention to detail and communication skills. **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
