Job Description

Consturction Safety Manager 

Location: Mount Bethel, PA
Duration: 3-6 Weeks (Start: Immediate Need)
Type: 1099 Contractor

We are seeking an experienced consturction safety manager to oversee the safety operations in the field for our client in Mount Bethel, PA. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in construction safety, this is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact.


Job Details

  • Hourly Rate: $56/hr Local ($49/hr for non-local)
  • Per Diem: $125/Day on seven days if over 50 miles from project location
  • Completion Bonus: $150/month
  • Pay: Weekly

Schedule:

  • 50-60hrs/week | 400pm - 300am Second Shift | M-F (Saturdays will start in a couple of weeks)

Project Scope

The construction safety manager will oversee safety for the client. Working to build 2 production cleanroom suites inside the building. The type of work includes HVAC, Steel, Process Plumbing, electrical, and controls contractors. 


Qualifications

Candidates must have the following requirements:

  • OSHA 30 with 5 years of construction safety 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
  • Provide safety training as needed
  • Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
  • Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
  • Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required

Skills & Knowledge

Skills:

  • Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)
  • Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
  • Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
