Description QA Analyst On-site | Austin, TX | Contract Responsibilities: + Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and user stories to ensure testability + Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts + Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications + Identify, document, and track software defects using bug‑tracking tools + Validate fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issues are resolved + Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify issues and improve quality + Test functionality, usability, performance, and basic security aspects of applications + Ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards before release + Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives + Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement Requirements Requirements: + 2-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance Analyst or Software Tester role + Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices + Hands‑on experience with manual testing for web and/or mobile applications + Ability to create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios + Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug‑tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.) + Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments + Strong attention to detail and analytical problem‑solving skills + Ability to clearly communicate issues to developers and stakeholders + Experience performing regression testing and validating bug fixes + Strong documentation and organizational skills Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
