THE POSITION

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Attorney to join our growing team. This position involves managing foreclosure sales proceedings for lenders, mortgage servicers, and financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foreclosure law and real estate litigation, with a focus on preparing and reviewing legal documents and ensuring compliance with New York foreclosure laws and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Manage foreclosure sales proceedings, including preparing and reviewing legal documents.
• Represent lenders, mortgage servicers, or financial institutions in foreclosure sales.
• Ensure compliance with New York foreclosure laws, court procedures, and client requirements.
• Prepare sale-related motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence.
• Work closely with title companies, clients, and purchaser's counsel to facilitate foreclosure transactions.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-3+ years of experience in foreclosure, real estate law, or litigation.
• Applicants must be admitted to practice in New York (EDNY and SDNY is a plus).
• Strong understanding of New York foreclosure laws and procedures.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with foreclosure case management systems is a plus.
