Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians - Columbus, MS

United Trades of America is seeking highly skilled Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for a commercial project in Columbus, Mississippi. This is a local position, with NO PER DIEM offered. Pay is based on experience.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Electrician
• Location: Columbus, MS
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
• Industry: Commercial Electrical
• Work Hours: Approximately 50 to 60 hours per week
• Travel: Local candidates only (no travel, no per diem)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical systems for commercial projects, including industrial equipment installation
• Run EMT conduit, pull wire, and perform terminations
• Install and troubleshoot lights, receptacles, and other electrical components
• PLC experience required for troubleshooting and system integration
• Ensure electrical systems adhere to safety standards and project timelines

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Strong experience with EMT conduit, electrical installations, and PLC systems
• Proven ability to follow safety protocols and work in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Must have own tools and PPE
• Apprentices should have a foundational understanding of electrical work with a desire to learn
