Job Description
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** **Position Purpose:** At **Naugatuck Valley Surgical Center** , part of **Saint Mary's Hospital** , the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) delivers safe, high-quality care to surgical patients. **What You Will Do** + Provide intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties, including patient positioning, site prep, instrumentation, and sterile technique. + Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient, coordinated care throughout procedures. **Minimum Qualifications** **Required:** + Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree in Nursing required + Valid RN license in Connecticut **Preferred** : + Bachelor's in Nursing + Ideal candidates will have 1 or more years of intraoperative nursing experience, including circulating and scrub experience. + Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross) + Familiarity with AORN standards **Important Consideration** This role is not designed for new graduates or those seeking training through the Periop 101 program.
