Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Welder 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Welder 2nd Shift, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Welder 2nd Shift
**Location:** Oklahoma City, OK
**Pay Range:** $24 an hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Set up and adjust machines and equipment to produce high-quality products.
+ Receive instructions, prints, and route sheets to organize and plan operational duties for your shift.
+ Perform inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments and conduct quality tests as required.
+ Make routine equipment adjustments to ensure efficient processes and compliance with welding standards.
+ Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other department equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
**What's Needed?**
+ Must hold a Certified Welder's qualification or equivalent certification from a technical institute.
+ Ability to pass the AWS Certification Test as per company policy.
+ Experience using calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices effectively.
+ Capability to perform SPC procedures and interpret findings to implement process improvements.
+ Highly motivated with a willingness to tackle challenges and solve problems.
