Job Description
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Operator to join their team. As an Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting warehouse, blending, and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Operator
**Location:** Houston, TX
**Pay Range:**
**Shift:** Day Shift - Mon-Fri, some weekends may be required
**What's the Job?**
+ Move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations efficiently and safely
+ Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials and finished products
+ Ensure accurate dosing of raw materials into blending processes, recording lot numbers and production data
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including housekeeping duties
+ Assist in packaging, palletizing, and shipping finished products to meet production schedules
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent with strong math skills
+ Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders accurately
+ Physical ability to lift heavy bags (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
+ Experience with mechanical tasks and operating forklifts preferred
+ Strong work ethic with good attendance and reliability
