This leader will own the **end‑to‑end Originations product portfolio** , spanning customer experience, team‑member experience, platform capabilities, analytics, and operational enablement. Originations is a critical growth engine for OneMain and includes multiple concurrent priorities: scaling digital and omni‑channel experiences, modernizing legacy technology, improving speed‑to‑market, enabling advanced analytics and decisioning, and supporting a large national operations footprint. This role provides **executive‑level ownership across these dimensions** , including oversight of major transformation programs (such as Catalyst), while maintaining accountability for business‑as‑usual performance and continuous improvement. This is a senior leadership role for a product executive who combines **strategic vision with strong execution discipline** , partners deeply with Engineering, and leads with a **team‑over‑individual mindset** . **Responsibilities** **Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership** + Define and own the **end‑to‑end product strategy and multi‑year roadmap for Originations** , aligned to enterprise growth, customer outcomes, and operational efficiency goals. + Lead a broad portfolio spanning **customer journeys, team‑member workflows, platform modernization, and analytics enablement** across digital, branch, and assisted channels. + Ensure strategic initiatives and foundational programs are sequenced and delivered in a way that balances near‑term business impact with long‑term platform health. **Execution & Transformation Leadership** + Translate strategy into **clear, executable plans** , driving incremental delivery at scale across multiple teams and workstreams. + Provide executive oversight of major transformation initiatives within Originations, ensuring alignment across Product, Technology, Operations, Analytics, Risk, Legal, and Compliance. + Drive modernization of origination capabilities while maintaining operational stability and regulatory rigor. **Engineering & Cross‑Functional Partnership** + Partner deeply with Engineering and Architecture leadership to balance delivery velocity, architectural integrity, scalability, and resiliency. + Act as a senior peer to cross‑functional leaders, fostering shared accountability for outcomes rather than handoffs. + Enable strong collaboration across Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, and Operations. **Customer & Team‑Member Experience** + Own the holistic originations experience across all touchpoints, with a focus on simplifying workflows, reducing friction, and improving speed and quality. + Ensure continuous feedback from customers and field teams informs product priorities and design decisions. + Champion usability, clarity, and consistency across experiences. **Analytics & Metrics‑Driven Decisioning** + Embed analytics and data into Originations products and workflows to support better decision‑making and performance visibility. + Define success metrics and use insights to guide prioritization, trade‑offs, and investment decisions. + Drive a culture of measurement, experimentation, and continuous improvement. **Leadership & Executive Communication** + Lead and develop a senior product organization with strong operating rigor, accountability, and talent growth. + Serve as a senior spokesperson for Originations, communicating strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership. + Model executive presence, clear thinking, and decisive leadership in complex environments. **Qualifications** + **12+ years of product management experience** , including senior leadership roles overseeing large, complex product portfolios. + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. + Proven success leading **enterprise‑scale product platforms and transformation efforts** . + Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Engineering and Architecture in highly technical environments. + Strong strategic thinking paired with a **track record of execution and delivery** . + Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with experience managing multiple teams, dependencies, and stakeholders. + Experience operating in regulated environments; **financial services or lending experience strongly preferred** . + Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels, including senior and executive leadership. **Preferred Experience** + Ownership of end‑to‑end loan origination or similar mission‑critical operational platforms. + Experience modernizing or evolving legacy systems at scale. + Background building customer‑ and team‑member‑facing platforms that support high‑volume operations. + Strong understanding of analytics, decisioning, and data‑driven product development. + Experience leading product organizations through multi‑year transformation journeys. + Familiarity with cloud‑based architectures and modern software delivery practices. + Deep understanding of lending, credit, or origination processes. **Location:** This role is Hybrid. You should be located within a commutable distance to one of our offices located in New York City, NY, Wilmington, DE, Baltimore, MD, with expectations of being in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. **Salary:** Target base salary range for New York, NY and Baltimore, MD is $170k-210k, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience.
