Description We are seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist for a 3-month, fully remote contract working 40 hours per week. This role is focused on state payroll tax registrations and ongoing coordination with our payroll processor, OneSource Virtual (OSV). Key Responsibilities: + Manage and complete state payroll tax registrations across multiple jurisdictions + Submit, track, and update tickets with OneSource Virtual (OSV) to ensure timely processing and issue resolution + Partner with internal Payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate setup and compliance + Monitor registration status and follow up on outstanding items + Support payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with state requirements + Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records Qualifications: + Proven experience in payroll tax, specifically state registrations and compliance + Hands-on experience with OneSource Virtual (OSV) required + Experience using Workday for payroll or HRIS functions + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple registrations simultaneously + Excellent communication and follow-up skills when working with external vendors + Ability to work independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment This is a great opportunity for a payroll professional who can quickly step in, take ownership of state registrations, and ensure smooth coordination with OSV and internal teams.
