BASIC PURPOSE
Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of division building and related property.
**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated **Sanitation/Valet Associate** to help maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the warehouse and assist with unloading, cleaning, and prepping trailers for reloading. This role plays a key part in keeping operations running efficiently and ensuring food safety standards are met.
**Schedule:** Monday - Friday | 12:00 PM start time until job is complete
**Compensation:**
The expected base rate for this role is **$18.54 per hour** , depending on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
This role will also receive:
+ Overtime compensation

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Unload, clean, and prep trailers for reload
+ Sweep and clean the entire warehouse to meet sanitation standards
+ Empty trash bins and clean the trash area daily; operate trash compactor as needed
+ Clean and scrub product bays on a rotating basis
+ Clean up spills or broken product and determine if items are salvageable or need to be disposed of per guidelines
+ Perform light maintenance duties (e.g., replace light bulbs, collect recyclables, check for leaks/ice buildup in freezer and cooler areas)
+ Clean break rooms, restrooms, offices, test kitchens, and other facility areas as needed
+ Maintain cleanliness around the facility grounds and dumpster areas
+ Operate equipment such as electric pallet jack, floor scrubber, or bailer as required
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or GED preferred
+ Previous custodial or warehouse sanitation experience preferred
+ Electric pallet jack experience preferred
+ Basic math skills and ability to read and write clearly
+ Able to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Must be comfortable working in physically demanding environments, including bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, lifting 25-50 lbs. occasionally, and working in various temperatures
**Physical Requirements:**
+ **Standing and walking:** Frequent to constant
+ **Lifting:** Occasionally up to 50 lbs
+ **Pushing/Pulling:** Occasionally/frequently up to 100 lbs
+ **Stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending:** Frequent to constant
+ **Reaching, grasping, twisting:** Occasionally to frequently
