Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations in Denver, Colorado. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate financial records, and communicate effectively across teams. The successful candidate will bring strong bookkeeping expertise, sound judgment, and hands-on experience with core accounting and payroll processes. Responsibilities: - Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time. - Handle vendor payments and customer billing activities, including monitoring outstanding balances and resolving discrepancies. - Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries to maintain reliable and current financial records. - Administer payroll processing on a bi-weekly schedule while supporting compliance with applicable policies and deadlines. - Lead month-end close activities and prepare supporting documentation for financial review. - Maintain fixed asset records and develop depreciation schedules to support accurate reporting. - Prepare trial balance information and assist with the production of core accounting reports. - Provide guidance to accounting support staff, including entry-level bookkeepers or clerical team members, as needed. Requirements - Demonstrated experience in full-charge bookkeeping with the ability to manage accounting functions independently. - Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. - Background in full-cycle payroll processing, including bi-weekly payroll administration. - Familiarity with payroll platforms such as ADP. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. - Clear communication and customer service abilities when working with internal and external contacts. - At least five years of relevant bookkeeping experience is preferred.
