Job Description
**Multiple Openings - Training Available - 1** **st** **shift M-F** In this role, candidates will be working in a cell with both a CNC mill and lathe available. Candidates will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to produce precision parts according to SOP's and blueprints. This role involves ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. **Responsibilities:** + Set up CNC mills and lathes, including loading and unloading materials, installing tools, and configuring machine parameters. + Verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. + Make necessary adjustments to machines and processes to correct defects and maintain high-quality output. + Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used, machine settings, and any issues encountered. + Report any significant deviations or defects to the supervisor and suggest improvements. + Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste. + Continuous improvement highly encouraged **Qualifications:** + HS diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is preferred) + Experience as a CNC Operator/machinist preferably with a focus on mills and lathes. + Experience with CNC set-up and software is a plus. + Ability to read and work from blueprints/engineering drawings/SOP's + Familiarity with measurement tools and quality control techniques + Basic computer skills for programming and machine control + Willing to train candidate that show initiative Pay and Benefits + Competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) + Pay is dependent upon experience **Multiple Openings - Training Available - 1** **st** **shift M-F** In this role, candidates will be working in a cell with both a CNC mill and lathe available.
