Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll & HR Specialist to join our team in Stuart, Florida. This contract position requires someone with strong attention to detail and expertise in managing payroll operations across multiple states and legal entities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, as well as supporting HR functions such as onboarding and benefits coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle payroll processes for 120-150 employees across multiple states and legal entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of both bi-monthly and monthly payroll cycles.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Oversee onboarding procedures for new hires and provide administrative support during the onboarding process.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs, including enrollment and updates.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and HR operations.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Generate payroll reports and provide data analysis as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Utilize PrimePay software for payroll management and reporting. Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management, preferably in a multi-state environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with processing bi-monthly and monthly payrolls.
- Expertise in onboarding processes and employee benefits coordination.
- Proficiency in using payroll software, with experience in PrimePay being a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication abilities for collaborating with HR and finance teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
