**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** Holy Cross Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our engineering team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the hospital to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors. **What you will do:** + Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems. + Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment. + Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing timely and effective solutions. + Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards. + Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to support hospital operations. + Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed. + Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly and efficiently. + Assist in planning and executing electrical projects and upgrades. **What is required:** + High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred. + Valid electrician's license in the state of Florida. + Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting. + Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials as needed.
