CFD Research is seeking highly qualified candidates for a RADAR engineer position. The candidate will have expertise in SAR image formation processors, RADAR physics, and SAR image quality analysis. Experience in signal processing, radar waveform design, and radar phenomenology analysis for both airborne and space systems is required. Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• M.S. Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
• Prior experience developing SAR Image Formation Processor
• Strong understanding of fundamental RF principles
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
• Experience working on a cross-functional team developing solutions to complex tasks
• Active curiosity and a desire to learn and grow as a technical expert

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of statistical analysis techniques
• Experience in developing RF, ES, and EA algorithms
• Familiarity with geospatial information and RF spectrum operations

Location: This role is based in the Dayton, OH area, and is 100% onsite.
