Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Job Information HR Specialist to join their team. As a Job Information HR Specialist, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting benefits administration and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Job Information HR Specialist
**Location:** Houston, TX
**Pay Range: $30.00 per hour**
**Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm**
**What's the Job?**
+ Administer daily operations of the company's Health & Welfare Benefit plans, including Leave of Absence, Wellness, and 401(k) offerings.
+ Provide support services for employee benefit plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
+ Assist with the coordination of compliance and audit activities related to benefits and retirement plans.
+ Help resolve complex benefits issues, including appeals, and support the development of benefit communications.
+ Manage benefit-related email correspondence and support benefits accounting procedures, tracking costs against budgets.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Degree or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
+ Minimum of one to three years of experience in benefits administration or related roles.
+ Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
+ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and web-based applications.
+ Knowledge of regulations such as HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and experience working with health plans and vendors.
