**Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Sanding Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing metal and composite parts by sanding, grinding, and deburring surfaces to meet strict aerospace quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform manual and mechanical sanding of aerospace components. + Use hand tools and power tools to grind and deburr parts. + Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure smooth finishes according to specifications. + Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and safety protocols. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. **Essential Skills** + Prior experience in sanding, grinding, or deburring in a manufacturing or aerospace setting preferred. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. + Must speak and understand English to ensure safety and compliance. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work well with others. + Able to work under minimal supervision. + Experience with inventory management and quality inspection. **Work Environment** This position operates in a distribution company for aerospace products. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, located in Chatsworth. The role involves inspection duties and requires standing for extended periods.
