At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk Children & Families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community-based services.

As a Case Planner in our Foster Care Program, you'll play a vital role in supporting children, foster parents, and biological families through every step of their journey. You'll manage a caseload by assessing individual needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and working toward the earliest possible discharge to a safe, permanent living situation. Your responsibilities include regular contact with foster parents to support the child's adjustment, offering guidance on parenting techniques, sharing relevant background information, and interpreting behavioral challenges. You'll also represent cases in court, providing testimony and documentation as needed, while serving as a compassionate advocate for the well-being of every child in your care.

Requirements:

• BA / BSW and 2 years Human Services experience required.
• Work experience in Child Welfare &/or Office of Mental Health System preferred
• Computer literacy required
• NYS driver's license preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
