**Responsibilities**
Summary:
Responsible for the effective coordination of the material planning, purchasing and production scheduling function and ensuring timely delivery to customers of finished products.
Responsibilities:
+ Prepares raw material, component and related items as specified by engineering and production specifications and schedules.
+ Compiles and summarizes statistical data used to determine buying trends/volumes and establish price objectives and/or opportunities.
+ Identifies potential suppliers and evaluates capability, service, cost and overall suitability.
+ Reviews comparison chart and proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers with respect to cost, quality and delivery for standard purchases.
+ Sources and purchases raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods and related material needed for production.
+ Takes appropriate action in resolving discrepancies in order quantity, price and seeks corrective action on late deliveries.
+ Coordinates and follows up with production, warehouse, supply chain and others, as appropriate, to ensure appropriate procurement, scheduling and movement of materials and services
**Qualifications**
Required Qualifications
Requires a minimum 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent education and experience; Or an advanced degree with no previous professional experience.Where required, the role must hold an appropriate degree in the industry (eg. Legal)

The expected pre-tax pay rate for this position is $74,400 - $99,600 per year
Full time position
Actual pay may fluctuate outside of the range depending on skills, education, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
