**A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)**
We are looking for a dedicated strategy lead to be part of
the GT Repair Strategy team who enjoys making an impact on the repair business
and not afraid to drive bold and groundbreaking topics! This individual will
lead critical initiatives for the repair business with a focus on meeting
future global customer demands and driving organizational improvements. This
role will be coordinated with interfaces including engineering, factory repair,
supply chain management, order and inventory management, and quality!
**How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)**
+ Evaluatemarket and customer needs, regional service needs, and future R&Drepair technologies and develop mid-to-long-term critical initiatives forthe overall Siemens Energy repair network
+ Alignwith engineering, factory repair and other partners on the overall repairnetwork strategy and drive implementation and action plans to support themid-to-long-term central initiatives
+ Defineand monitor for the repair business the desired key performance indicatorsand targets for meeting the aligned central initiatives
+ Alignand work with partners on identifying gaps or needs to support the repairthrough business-case recommendations which include overall repaircapacity footprint, load shift, and second source decisions based on:
+ Meetingglobal repair demands
+ Localizationrequirements (contractual or strategic)
+ Costreduction, vendor performance (OTD/quality), or other risk mitigations
+ Supportdeveloping and maintaining data analysis dashboards for repair strategy tohelp with scenario planning activities related to global repair forecast,capacity, cost, qualification status, and other drivers
**What You Bring (requirements)**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an engineering/technical field with at least 5 years of professional experience is preferred.
+ Knowledge of Gas Turbine technology is preferred; combined cycle and balance of plant experience is desirable but not required.
+ Experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is required; procurement and supply chain experience is a strong plus.
+ Demonstrated ability to take various complexities/details and build a comprehensive strategy plan.
+ Strong program management, communication, network building, and facilitation skills.
+ Expected travel to be approximately 30-35%.
