**Contract Accounts Payable Specialist**
**Location:** Arnold, PA (Onsite)
**Pay:** $23-$24/hour
**Job Type:** Contract (6-7 months)
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible start up to 7:30 AM)
**Start Date:** ASAP
**Position Overview**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Accounts Payable Specialist** to support a manufacturing plant in Arnold, PA. This is a **contract role (6-7 months)** to backfill a departing team member, with an immediate need to get someone in place quickly.
This position plays a key role in daily financial operations, including invoice processing, inventory reconciliation, and reporting metrics to plant leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Process approximately **100 invoices per week** , primarily manual **non-PO invoices**
+ Match invoices and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate coding and processing
+ Perform **inventory reconciliations** , including yield and labor efficiency reporting
+ Prepare and distribute **daily reports** to plant leadership on prior day performance
+ Work cross-functionally to gather and verify financial data
+ Maintain accuracy and organization in all accounts payable activities
**Qualifications**
+ Previous experience in **Accounts Payable or similar accounting role**
+ Basic understanding of **accounting principles** (debits/credits)
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments
+ Experience with **ERP systems** (SAP preferred, but not required)
+ Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** , including:
+ Pivot tables
+ VLOOKUPs
+ SUMIF functions _(Candidates willing to learn and grow in Excel are encouraged to apply)_
**Work Environment**
+ Onsite role at a **manufacturing plant in Arnold, PA** (approximately 30 minutes outside Pittsburgh)
+ Primarily office-based, with occasional time spent on the plant floor
+ **Business casual environment** (jeans permitted)
+ All required PPE provided when entering the plant
**Additional Details**
+ No check processing (payments handled via ACH at corporate level)
+ Fast-paced environment requiring strong organization and time management
+ Immediate interviews via Microsoft Teams (one round)
+ Position expected to last approximately **6 months**
