This role contributes to hands‑on laboratory work, method development, and cross‑functional collaboration that drives innovation across Hach's product portfolio. This position is part of the **Research & Development Chemistry team** , located in Loveland, and will be Onsite. **In this role, a typical day will look like:** + Developing new chemical methods of analysis for Hach instrumentation. + Demonstrating proficiency in analytical techniques, chemical principles, and laboratory practices. + Creating reagent formulations and quality control procedures in partnership with operations. + Writing summary and status reports of development work. + Supporting customers and internal teams to resolve analytical questions. + Applying statistical analysis and DOE methodologies as needed. **The essential requirements of the job include:** + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or closely related field. + Strong understanding of chemical principles and analytical laboratory techniques. + Demonstrated laboratory experience beyond academic coursework. + Experience in chemical characterization and problem‑solving. + Ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
