We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team! What You'll Do:
Process Improvement: Lead the creation and maintenance of our quality plan by updating key documents, developing clear procedures, and specifying materials. You'll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance.
Innovation & Technology Integration: Continuously evaluate and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies to keep us at the cutting edge.
Collaboration with Experts: Work closely with external equipment and material manufacturers to enhance product design, processes, tooling, and materials knowledge.
Product Design Support: Partner with product teams to assist in the design and development process, including product testing, tooling design, and documentation.
Customer & Sales Support: Provide critical technical support and troubleshooting for our sales department and external customers, ensuring seamless communication and problem resolution.
Cost-Effectiveness: Identify opportunities for cost savings, analyze production processes, and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Training & Process Documentation: Work with the manufacturing team to develop training materials and guidelines for new products and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and continuous improvement.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Support manufacturing decisions by analyzing production, labor, and material costs, reviewing schedules, and estimating future requirements.
Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with government agencies to ensure compliance with product and workplace regulations, keeping our operations efficient and compliant.
Varied Responsibilities: Take on other exciting duties and challenges as they arise, contributing to the success of the manufacturing team and the organization as a whole.
What We're Looking For:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: At least three years of relevant manufacturing experience. Experience in a small manufacturing environment is a plus!
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on process optimization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD systems (AutoDesk software suite).
Familiarity with production planning systems (MRP).
Additional Qualifications: Advanced training or certification in relevant fields is highly desirable.
