Job Description

Triad Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of high-quality store fixtures. We are looking for an experienced Wood Finisher to join our team and contribute to the craftsmanship and quality of our products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling, and repairing imperfections.
  • Apply stains, paints, sealers, and clear finishes using spray guns, brushes, and other tools.
  • Mixing and matching stains and finishes to achieve desired colors and textures.
  • Inspect finished pieces for quality and consistency, making touch-ups as needed.
  • Operate and maintain finishing equipment, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ability to keep area clean and organized.
  • Complete tasks delegated by supervisor and/or lead
  • Ask questions or seek advice from supervisor when in doubt.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Ability to problem solve.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in wood finishing, shading, cabinet making, or furniture finishing.
  • Antique furniture refinishing a plus
  • 1 year of experience
  • Ability to showcase a strong work ethic
  • Must be able to use HVLP spray guns/pump systems
  • Knowledge of various wood types, stains, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to use spray equipment and hand-finishing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
  • Previous experience in automotive paining an surface preparation.
  • Flat line spray machine/equipment a plus.
  • Ability to learn and repeat finishing processes given by the finishing lead.

Candidate must be able to wear a Respirator when spraying in the booths, candidate will be cleared by the company doctor to wear respirator.
