Description We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate account follow-ups and maintaining key performance indicators. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team and contribute to the efficiency of our revenue cycle operations. Responsibilities: - Conduct follow-ups on patient accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure timely processing. - Document all account follow-up activities in the billing comments section of the electronic medical record. - Monitor and maintain Revenue Cycle Key Performance Indicators as set by leadership. - Communicate effectively with insurance companies to obtain reasoning for denied claims. - Utilize Service Excellence skills to deliver courteous and effective support in all interactions. - Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle team and other staff to optimize reimbursement processes for all services provided. - Support the development and improvement of verification, admission, and reimbursement workflows. - Serve as a backup for the Insurance Verification Coordinator and other Patient Accounts Coordinators as needed. Requirements - Strong accounts receivable & customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and customers. - Proven experience working with insurance processes, including Medicare and Medicaid. - Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues independently. - Extensive knowledge and experience in accounts receivable (AR) follow-up and resolution. - Experience with claims management, appeals, and benefit and billing functions. - Capability to manage multiple accounts and effectively handle denied claims.
