We are presently accepting resumes for a number of Permanent Full-Time Flex Support Worker III positions. These positions will be assigned to work in various Empower Simcoe group homes in Barrie, working up to 72 hours biweekly.
The purpose of this role is to provide flexible, person-centered support across multiple group living locations within Empower Simcoe, at our Barrie locations. The Flex Support Worker will play a critical role in filling vacant shifts, responding to immediate staffing needs, and being prepared for redeployment where necessary.

Role/Duties:
Our Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting. Responsibilities include providing support with personal care, household duties, meal preparation, finances, as well as supporting people to appointments and/or out in the community.
The Flex Support Worker must be prepared to be redeployed to different locations based on Agency priorities and emergent needs. This position must be able to transition seamlessly between different work locations and varying supports.
