Registered Nurse- Quality Manager

VillageCare is looking for a self-motivated and passionate RN for our Full Time Quality Manager opening. The Quality Manager is responsible for review of UAS-NY, care plans and documentation completed by Nurse Assessors to ensure completeness, accuracy and quality. Providing supervision, feedback and guidance to the Nurse Assessors will be vital to this role. Some daily functions include:

• Perform Quality Assurance reviews of potential Enrollment cases completed by the Enrollment Nurse Assessors.
• Review completed UAS-NY for finalization and maximization of risk score.
• Review proposed plan of care/Tasking Tool to ensure that it reflects the clinical and psychosocial needs of the member.
• Provide guidance and training to the Nurse Assessors related to accurate completion of the UAS-NY.
• Perform supervisory field visits with the Nurse Assessors, including vendor nurses, to ensure compliance with assessments.
• Serve as an expert clinical resource for the Nurse Assessor team.
• Conducts case conferences on clinical complex cases to determine a safe plan of care.
• Makes final determination of an appropriate care plan for all new potential enrollees for MLTC and MAP.

We would like to speak to those who have a valid NYS RN License along with 3+ years job related experience in Managed Care, Home Care or Community setting. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Passionate attitude, communication skills and problem solving will be vital to this position.
