Job Description
Provide management and leadership to support all hospital staff in their delivery of safe, timely, appropriate patient and family care. Facilitate interdisciplinary communication, decision-making, and teamwork, cost-efficient resource allocation, and ensure appropriate expeditious patient access and flow. In partnership with all unit and department management, utilizes PDCA and CPI methodology to identify areas for quality improvement, customer service, and safety in alignment with unit, department, and hospital goals. Responsible for the direction of all medical center activities in the absence of other management and administrative staff during evenings, weekends, and holidays. **This is a limited term position slated for 6 months. Benefits eligible.** **Schedule will be 3 days/week, 6pm to 6am.** **Required Education and Experience** + Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. + Minimum 5 years as a pediatric nurse. + Minimum 3 years of leadership experience. **Required Credentials** + Current Washington State RN license. + At time of hire: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is required for all positions. + Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers. + Current BLS must be obtained until PEARS is obtained (see below). + As a condition of employment: All Shift Administrators are required to successfully obtain PEARS within 3 months of employment. + Current PEARS is to be maintained at all times. + National certification in a clinical specialty area must be obtained within three years of employment. **Preferred** + Masters degree. **Compensation Range** $139,486.00 - $209,228.00 per year **Salary Information** This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
