Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc., a private, non for-profit health and human service agency located in Auburn, NY is seeking a Contract Mental Health Therapists.

The Contract Mental Health Therapist provides direct Therapeutic services to clients through in- person and telehealth sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conducts client assessments provides diagnoses and delivers ongoing therapeutic services using independent clinical judgment. Consults with Supervisor as needed.
• Participates in the Agency's open access model, as applicable to contract terms.
• Completes documentation in a timely manner including progress notes, diagnostic evaluations and collaborative treatment plans in compliance with Agency, HIPPA and OMH standards.
• Uses the electronic health record system to document all client related activities.
• Make corrections/ updates as needed based on quality assurance or utilization review feedback.
• Attend supervision meetings, study groups, and committees as outlined in the contract or as requested and agreed upon.
• Adheres to principles of continuous quality improvement and maintains professional standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field.
• A valid NYS Professional licensure (LMFT, LCAT, LMHC, LMSW)
• Two Years of supervised clinical experience preferred.
• Stong communication, time management and documentation skills.
• Have the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Contractor Expectations:

• This is a 1099 contract position: contractor is responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
• Must carry appropriate professional liability insurance
• Contractor will set their own hours in coordination with agency scheduling needs.
• Must have reliable transportation and access to a secure, confidential space for telehealth if applicable
