Nirvana Cannabis in Marquette is searching for a motivated, high-integrity individual to join our team as a Support Staff Member.
As part of our front-of-house team, you'll be the face of Nirvana Cannabis-guiding customers through their cannabis journey with knowledge, empathy, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
👋 Greet customers with a warm, welcoming attitude
🧠 Educate customers on strains, effects & consumption methods
🛒 Keep the sales floor flowing smoothly
📢 Communicate customer needs to management
✅ Ensure full compliance with MI state regulations
🧽 Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting
🧾 Accurately complete all transactions using Dutchie POS
💵 Follow all proper cash-handling protocols
🕒 Stick to assigned break/lunch schedules
🔄 Rotate between reception and budtending
📘 Understand and follow all Nirvana Cannabis policies
🙌 Support your team and stay open to feedback
🧾 Verify IDs & apply proper discounts
🗣️ Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
🧠 Detail-oriented & organized
⚡ Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
💡 A teachable, team-first attitude
🧾 High school diploma or GED
🛍️ 1+ year of retail experience (preferred)
💻 Comfortable with Microsoft Office & POS systems
🕴️ Stand/walk for extended periods
📦 Lift up to 30 lbs as needed
