Description Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a Binghamton client of his that has been growing a lot. This is a newly created Warehouse Manager role to lead operational activities. This position is 1st shift - daytime working hours. 8:30 am - 5pm. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in managing production support, distribution, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will champion efficiency, ensure quality standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations to meet goals related to productivity, quality, and service standards. - Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency. - Manage staffing, equipment, and materials to support operational objectives effectively. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies. - Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and enhance operational outcomes. - Foster a workplace culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and address basic troubleshooting needs. - Drive initiatives to optimize logistics, warehouse management, and operational workflows. - Coordinate production and distribution activities to meet business demands. Requirements - Proven experience in operations or warehouse management with a focus on process improvement. - Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. - Knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and distribution processes. - Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards within a warehouse environment.
