**Responsibilities**
- Perform safety start up meeting
- Train all current and incoming employees on the process of preparing, skidding, crating, and loading cases
- Works with the shipping coordinator to ensure that the cases are completed and ready to ship before the arrival of the trucking company.
- Help prep cases, including/not limited to, foam prepping, cutting wood, installing brackets, spotting and using forklift to load.
- Check in/out all trucks and insure proper documentation is signed.
- Communicates with the assembly lines to identify what cases are needed for the current and upcoming days.
- Monitors the department to make sure that all employees are following the correct SOP.
- Monitors the department to make sure that all employees are working in a safe manner.
- Work with Coordinator keep accurate count of Skid/Crate inventory.
- Pull all skid and crates for current ship schedule.
- Mark all cases to identify cases expected to ship. (Green Cones)
Membership in Teamsters Local 986 required.
The individual must have good communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a positive and a drive for innovation. Need to have a working knowledge of measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, and protractor) other measuring tools a plus.
1-2 years experience. - High School/Equivalent
