**This role in summary**
Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for a Procurement Analyst. This role will be located in Mount Pleasant, WI.
In this role, you will primarily support indirect (Transportation, IT, warehousing, MRO, facilities, capex) procurement within the InSinkerator business unit. This position will engage cross functional stakeholders and utilize effective supplier relationship management techniques to enhance commercial and operational performance.
**Your responsibilities will include**
+ Support sourcing strategy development for assigned commodities
+ Assemble request for quote (RFQ) packages, develop statement of work (SOW) documents, and support competitive quoting and benchmarking activities
+ Work with data analytics team to develop reports and run existing reports
+ Responsible for various Purchase Orders (PO) and requisition issuance for materials, services, capital, etc
+ Support greater sourcing and cross functional teams by managing processes including supplier add, travel and expense, etc.
+ Escalation point for supplier performance and commercial issues
+ Other duties as assigned
**Minimum requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 1 + years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
**Preferred skills and experiences**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or Engineering
+ Demonstrated practical use of supplier management and sourcing principles
+ Proven communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and management skills
+ Analytical and computer related skills. Oracle experience is a plus
+ Manage and prioritize multiple key activities
+ Build strong rapport and relationships with internal process partners and suppliers
+ Driven individual with a vision and work ethic required for future growth
