Well established Real estate investment and development is seeking a strong Sr. Property Accountant to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
-Preparation of monthly reporting packages for the assigned properties
-Manage and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
-Oversee month-end close processes, including reconciliation and preparation of financial statements.
-Cash Balance Reports, Accruals schedule, Management Fee Calculations
-Trial Balance and Flux analysis
-Monthly investor reporting: cash reporting, hotel operations financial reporting (as required)
-Quarterly investor reporting, including preparation of financial reporting templates, debt reporting templates, and Asset Management reporting.
-Monthly, quarterly, annual lender reporting, Annual audit
-Provide PBC items to auditors and assist in answering any questions
-Utilize Yardi software to track, analyze, and report financial data efficiently.
-Assist with budget planning
Requirements
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-Minimum 5 + years of real estate accounting experience
-Knowledge of Yardi or similar software system
-Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively
