Job Description
**Job Title:** Pick and Pack Worker
**Location:** San Diego, CA 92121
**Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
**Pay Rate:** USD $35.00/hr
**Contract:** Temporary (3 Months, potential temp-to-hire)
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a cGMP, pharmaceutical, or clinical environment
- Minimum of 4 years of experience operating and maintaining packaging equipment
- Strong attention to detail, especially when working with look-alike products
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow strict procedures
- Experience with labeling, inspection, and packaging processes
- Ability to use barcode scanning equipment and computers
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform packaging and labeling of clinical trial products
- Lead production rooms and oversee activities from pre-line to post-line processes
- Review production batch records and ensure quality output
- Manage label control, including printing, inspection, and documentation
- Train new staff and support production team members
- Inspect products for quality issues such as missing components, defects, or improper sealing
- Operate packaging equipment and support production processes
- Handle assembly tasks, including blister fill, bottle fill, pouch, and vial/syringe inspection
- Perform cleaning of equipment, production rooms, and product contact parts following SOPs
- Maintain cleaning logs and documentation
- Follow strict procedures when working with assigned products and multi-fill operations
- Support production scheduling and daily operations in coordination with management
- Assist with investigations related to deviations or customer complaints
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
